When I think of super stars, I imagine a statuesque height that demands attention on the red carpet, the big screen, and the concert stage.

Like this, when you think of some of your favorite K-Pop stars, there are certain qualities that come to mind first. Certainly in the world of K-Pop, height doesn’t seem to play as much of a part. Since short people in K-Pop world have already proven that big talent can come in small packages. Here’s 10 idol group members that would probably make you say ‘DAYUM! They’re short!” in your head if you ever met them in person. Don’t say it out loud. Celebrities have feelings too.

In fact, it’s often very hard to tell how tall a celebrity is just from seeing them on the big screen or TV. Thanks to the magic of movies (or some very high heels for the ladies), these stars are made to look much taller than they actually are. 1. YeRi - Red Velvet

Height: Probably 155cm (5’1″)

Actually, YeRi doesn’t really look that much taller than Irene but their fans guess they are all short so not that much difference. The fact that she’s so petite makes her even more adorable to her fans.

2. MinAh - AOA

Height: Probably 157cm (5’1″)

From Nickelodeon star to K-Pop sensation, MinAh has had quite the career for a 24-year-old. The Seoul Gayo Award-nominated singer/actress has become known for her babydoll image, which after learning her height. The sweety of AOA has a big personality on-screen and off but she is only 5’1”.

3. Baby Soul - Lovelyz

Height: 156cm (5’1″)

Baby Soul has worked as a songwriter as well as a singer which made me think she was tall, but she’s actually just 5’1. That girl sure knows how to work with what she is given.

4. Sunny - Girls’ Generation

Height: 158cm (5’2″)

Sunny’s presence in the idol community is so large that it’s easy not to notice the singer is shorter than her friend, TaeYeon. For K-Pop Music Award winning singer and one of the SNSD members Sunny, height doesn’t mean a thing. She is only 5’2”, but her group has been nominated for so many Music Awards and the group has won the grand prize twelve times!

5. ChaeYoung - TWICE

Height: 159cm (5’2″)

The biggest survival show star around is actually teeny tiny. ChaeYoung only stands at 5’2″. Especially, when ChaeYoung was standing next to Tzuyu, she looked incredibly short, so we are guessing that her height released by “Private Live of TWICE” is probably right!

6. WooZi - Seventeen

Height: 163cm (5’4″)

13-member SEVENTEEN’s charming producer, WooZi is super petite with a height of 5’4″. Despite his small frame, his group had BIG success last year and took the entire music scene by storm.

7. JinHwan - iKON

Height: Probably 165cm (5’4″)

JinHwan may be the eldest of iKON, but he comes in at the shortest too. There’s a 4 year difference between JinHwan and the youngest member ChanWoo, yet almost a whole foot (17 inches) separating the two in height.

8. TaeIl - Block B

Height: Probably 167cm (5’5″)

BlockB’s main vocalist is super petite at only 5’5” tall. He is about four inches shorter than his co-star Park Kyung, the second shortest. They must be using some clever camera angles to cover the difference because we haven’t noticed it.

9 . D.O - EXO

Height: 172cm (5’7″)

EXO’s grave, quiet member may be a few inches below average height but, with his professional accomplishments, it doesn’t matter! He is about 5′ 7″ (172cm) and in my opinion the most adorable member of EXO!

10 . JiMin - BTS

Height: Probably 173cm (5’8″)

BTS’s main dancer and super-vocalist JiMin is several inches shorter than the average man, but he definitely makes up for that with his creativity and his excellent sense of music!
