The girls had chosen their debut title track through a voting. They had all wanted to chose a track that they can look back on later in life and feel proud and nostalgic. The chosen title track was “Dream Girls”. The girls fell in love with the song, because of its message that if you try your hardest at whatever you wish to achieve, you will succeed.
“Dream Girls” was composed by a well known producer, Famousbro. Famousbro is most famous for his work on Jessi’s “Strong Unnie”, Lucky J’s “Do You Hear” & “No Love”, and BaeChiGi’s “WalKak”. Im NaYoung and Choi YooJung also participated in writing the rap lyrics for the song.
I.O.I’s debut album, ‘Chrysalis’, will be available through music portals on May 4th at 12:00 pm. Their showcase will be held on the next day to celebrate their debut!
