If you are a big fan of K-Pop and are familiar with K-culture, you probably know about this trend. Sometimes fans say that they can distinguish which idols belong to which agency by their appearance. That indicates that these major companies each have their own ideal type in trainees’ faces.

Just look at these photos below yourself! It’s easier to make out some members than others in the average faces, like I can see SoWon in GFriend’s really easily, and Irene and Joy in Red Velvet’s. As you know, almost all idols’ popularity and/or features, a particular member is always placed in the center, getting the most spotlight. As such, he/she is the member that first comes into mind that comes into mind when the group is mentioned. Below are some examples of this phenomenon.
